Imagine having a dream big enough to carry you through your life! Join author Paula J. Newcomer as she tells the story of a real girl from New Jersey, who dreamed of taming wild huckleberries, and created all the blueberries we eat today! This program is a fun, interactive telling of Elizabeth Coleman White’s remarkable story by local children’s book author and poet, Paula J. Newcomer. Taste blueberries, have a hands- on experience with Sphagnum moss, and create a group poem about blueberries with Miss Paula’s help.
